About this service
What counts as an emergency
For a business, refrigeration failure is the obvious one — a cool room, freezer room, display fridge or ice machine losing temperature puts stock at risk by the hour. For a home, a system failing in extreme heat is a genuine welfare problem, particularly for older people and young children.
Commercial air conditioning failure during trading hours also qualifies, because a shop, café or medical centre that cannot be kept comfortable usually cannot stay open.
How it works
Call the emergency line and describe what has happened and what type of system it is. Our normal hours are Monday to Friday and Sunday, 7am to 5pm, and the emergency line covers everything outside that.
We cover emergency air conditioning breakdowns and emergency refrigeration breakdowns across all 81 suburbs in our service area.
